Timeless
Am embarrassing conversation this morning about how I'd thought the clocks were going back last night? It being Sunday and all..... Except it's Friday today. Still feels like Sunday to me.... I think my life needs to get a bit more eventful.
Oh! It's the "Retirement Syndrome." When you stop working to a regular schedule, and if there no longer school children on your street all the days blur together. (Also, though not wanting to be too much the Negative Nellie, it also happens when one of you is working part-time.On call.Sometimes.) If I find a work-around for this, I'll let you know!
This made me laugh more than you might think, especially so because I commented earlier to my beloved that today felt like Monday. Still, could be worse. My mum seldom knows what day it is when we speak on the phone and thinks that Spring is on the way. She's right of course in a way, but she seems to have totally disregarded that we have to get through winter yet.
And after they go back you don't know what time it is or what day it is. Weirdly, instead of wanting to eat 'too early' I have slipped into a later pattern of eating and sleeping. This doesn't compute.
I hope you are doing ok because it isn't like you not to come on and post before Christmas and show us your decorations in your lovely home. I do hop all is well with you.

ReplyDeleteAh, good - so I was not alone in this thought!
